WHO WE ARE
It all started in early 2025 when former classmates and childhood friends began meeting to discuss our country's future. What happened to Iowa’s economy, and does no one care that tariffs are causing prices to rise? Why is Iowa’s cancer rate the fastest growing in the country, and why is our leadership not addressing this? What happened to Iowa nice, and what’s with all the hatred and cruelty? What happened to values like honesty, truth, and integrity?
OUR MISSION
Iowans for Decency is a grassroots organization empowering ordinary lowans to fight extremism and to protect Democracy with truth and integrity. We value honesty, humility, morality, science, history, and the Constitution, and we believe politicians should prioritize affordable health care, lower grocery prices, housing, and our kids' education. These kitchen-table issues must be the top priority of anyone representing Iowans in Washington.
WHAT WE PLAN TO DO
Cuts to Medicaid, SNAP benefits, public education, and other services are destroying Iowa's economy and making life worse for those who live here. Tariffs are resulting in record levels of farm bankruptcies.
Iowans for Decency will:

Provide thoughtful, honest, and authentic content you can share with friends or family, or place on your favorite social media platforms

Get out the pro-Democracy vote
